Are the add-ons included in every plan?
No. The e-mail CRM, project management, e-signing and invoicing modules are optional power-ups that are enabled per workspace. Everything in the core foundations is part of the standard platform.
Does Royaltis handle author advances and returns reserves?
Yes. Set an advance on any title and author contract and Royaltis recoups it from the royalties earned on that title before anything is paid out, showing the Advance Balance Remaining on every statement and in the Author Portal. You can also hold a percentage of each payment back against returns for one or two cycles; the reserve is itemized on each statement line and released automatically.
What does zero per-ISBN pricing mean?
Royaltis bills by the number of active Master Titles. Each title can hold every format and ISBN of a book, so adding an ebook, a hardcover or an audiobook edition never adds to the bill.
Can Royaltis import ONIX from another system?
Yes. Royaltis reads ONIX 3.0 and 2.1 feeds using reference tags, and exports ONIX 3.0 that is checked against the official schema.
How do authors receive their royalty statements?
When a cycle is sealed, the publisher can e-mail every author their itemized statement with the PDF attached in one action, or send to one author at a time. Authors can also sign in to their branded portal at any time.
